Install OmniFlows from the ZIP package

Use this path when the Chrome Web Store is unavailable. Verify the package first, then load the unzipped extension folder in Chrome.

Download, verify, and unzip

Download the ZIP package, compare it with the MD5 checksum above, then unzip it into a folder you can keep.

  1. Compare the downloaded ZIP with the MD5 value to avoid a tampered package.
  2. After the checksum matches, unzip the package into a dedicated folder.
  3. Open the folder and make sure its root contains manifest.json.

Turn on Chrome developer mode

Chrome only allows local extension folders to be loaded after developer mode is enabled.

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Enter chrome://extensions/ in the address bar, or open the Extensions management page from the browser menu.
  3. Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner of the Extensions page.

Load the unzipped extension

Choose the folder that contains manifest.json, not the ZIP file itself.

  1. Click Load unpacked in the top-left button row.
  2. Select the extension folder you prepared after unzipping.
  3. Click Select Folder or Confirm.
  4. After loading succeeds, OmniFlows appears as an extension card and in the browser extension menu.
